Balgokul
BalGokul is a place for children to come together, learn practice Hindu culture and heritage, understand Bharat (India) and make good friends with similar interest and background.
Gokul is the place where Lord Krishna spent his childhood days. Gokul is the place where talents, mischiefs, strength and also the divinity of Krishna blossomed. People realized that he was not an ordinary boy, but an incarnation of God. "Bal" means Child. Bal Gokul is the place for the children to enjoy together and also discover their potential and blossom to the fullest extent.
Durga Temple Parents and Volunteers run BalGokul for our children.

Yoga
Yoga is collection of physical, mental, and spiritual practices or disciplines which originated in pre-Vedic period. Yoga first mentioned in Holy book RIG VEDA. It is a powerful energy source discovered for human race to enhance their wellbeing on not only physical but mental in fact all aspects of life.
Come and join Yoga FREE YOGA CLASSES AT DURGA TEMPLE on every Saturday and Sunday. Our class is open for everyone and no previous yoga experience is necessary.

Application of Bhagavad Gita in Daily Life
Every Monday from 6:00pm to 7:30pm at Durga Temple
Join a group study of timeless wisdom presented in Bhagavad Gita and extract it’s teachings for practical application to our modern lives. Known as the “ABC’s of spirituality”, the Bhagavad-gita is an introduction to the deep and powerful concepts of spirituality. Through this interactive and systematic study the student will acquire essential tools for analyzing both the self and the world, and be better able to enter deeper into their own spiritual practices.
It is free of charge and, though it goes through the entire Bhagavad-gita sequentially, one can join at any time. Prior knowledge of the Bhagavad-gita is not necessary.
Class will continue through the year. All are welcome to attend.

SAMSKRITAM CLASSES
Service Prerequisite:
NO prior knowledge of Samskrit is expected of the participants. Participants should be
able to speak any of the Indian languages. (The course may be very challenging if you
don't understand any of the Indian languages, but you are welcome to take on the
challenge.)
What to expect:
Samskrita Bharati taught similar courses to over 4 million people, through more than
10,000 teachers. The course is interactive and is designed such that by the end of the
course, one will be able to have some basic conversations in Samskritam. From our
previous experience, most people achieve this.Name
